Join us for the Dominick J. Ruggerio Solidarity Day of Action as we come together
in the spirit of service, unity, and community impact.

This day of action will bring volunteers, labor partners, and community members together
to support hands-on service projects benefiting Rhode Islanders across the state.

 I also understand and agree that the United Way of Rhode Island may use my name or photos of me participating in this event for publicity or promotional purposes without any liability or obligation to me.
 LIABILITY WAIVER: 1. I understand that participating in this activity may involve risks, including minor or serious bodily injury. Possible injuries may include tripping, lifting-related injuries, cuts, bee stings, and even death. These injuries may result from my own actions or inactions, those of other participants, the conditions of the activity, or the negligence of the ?releasees? listed below. Additionally, there may be risks that are not known to me or not easily foreseeable at this time. I acknowledge that if I believe any part of the event is unsafe, I will immediately stop participating.
 2. I fully accept and assume all risks and responsibilities for any personal injury or property damage that may occur during my participation.
 3. I confirm that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate.
 4. I fully accept and assume all risks and responsibilities for any personal injury or property damage, including costs and damages I incur as a result of participating in this activity.
 5. If I require emergency medical treatment, I specifically authorize all necessary procedures. I understand and agree that I will be responsible for the costs of such medical treatments.
 6. I hereby release, discharge, and promise not to sue the United Way of Rhode Island, its administrators, directors, agents, volunteers, employees, other participants, sponsors, advertisers, nonprofit partners, and, if applicable, the owners and landlords of the premises where the activity takes place (collectively called "releasees"). This release covers all liabilities, claims, demands, losses, or damages I may suffer, including those caused by the negligence of the releasees or negligent rescue operations.
 7. I will indemnify, protect, and hold harmless each releasee from any loss, liability, damage, or cost if, despite this release and waiver of liability and assumption of risk, I or anyone on my behalf claims any releasee.
 8. I hereby grant full permission for all parties mentioned above to use any photographs or reproductions from this event for legitimate purposes, including advertising.
 9. I have read this release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement thoroughly and understand its terms. I acknowledge that I have given up substantial rights by signing it and have done so voluntarily, without any inducement or assurance. I intend this to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent permitted by law.
